Second Chance

We are thrilled to be back with with the wonderful people of Second Chance, a nonprofit that provides people, materials and the environment with a second chance. They deconstruct buildings and homes, salvage the usable materials and make them available to the public. With the revenue generated, they provide job training and workforce development for those with employment obstacles in and around Baltimore.

We will have 150 volunteers working on deconstructing and processing lumber that has been taken from torn down homes and can be re-purposed for others to use. Please wear long sleeves, pants and closed-toe shoes. The temperature in the warehouse will be similar to the weather outside because they do not have heat in their warehouse.

Afterwards, take some time to walk around and shop for yourself. You’ll be surprised at the treasures you will find in their warehouse.
