VU October Event – District 7 & 11 Beautification

For our October event we are heading to Districts 7 & 11 in Druid Heights for some clean-up and beautification work! The three location options are listed below – we’d love for our volunteers to arrive & park at the location you sign-up for.

Please also bring your own masks, water bottles, and sunscreen (if needed)!

Site 1: Druid Heights Community Development Corporation (CDC) (2140 McCulloh Street, Baltimore, MD 21217)

• Volunteers will be assisting with the Druid Heights “Curb Appeal” campaign to clean-up the streets in the neighborhood, including trash pick-up, weeding, & debris removal
• Volunteers needed: 20

Site 2: Gold Street Park (Division Street & Gold Street, Baltimore, MD 21217)

• Volunteers will be cleaning the lot & surrounding streets, mulching, and planting shrubs and trees.
• Volunteers needed: 20

Site 3: Saint Katherines Park (Druid Hill Avenue & Presstman Street, Baltimore, MD 21217)

• Volunteers will clean the lot, mulch, and remove plants to expose the existing mural
• Volunteers needed: 20
