Date(s) - 07/08/2017
10:00 am - 1:00 pm

In July we will be working with three of the schools in Baltimore that need our help most. These three schools were identified as the three most in need of a turnaround and are being taken over by the people who run Commodore John Rodgers, the City’s gold standard for turnaround schools. They have enlisted the help of Volunteering Untapped to create a welcoming and positive environment.

We will be painting murals and doing other tasks around the schools. The murals will be created ahead of time by MICA students and the designs will be projected onto the walls that we will then paint. We will also be painting positive quotes on the wall and doing other improvement tasks around the school. The three schools are Mary E Rodman, Harford Heights and James McHenry Elementary Schools.

Our after party will be at Zella’s Pizzeria in the historic Hollins Market neighborhood, where we will have food and drink specials.
