June – Teach for America & Thread
This month’s Second Saturday event brought together Volunteering Untapped, Teach for America and Thread to beautify and improve the facilities at Frederick Douglass High School.
144 volunteers gathered to paint walls, murals, the Douglass logo and more. They also worked in the school’s outdoor garden, or helping with general upkeep.
The party continued with free beer and wine at TouchPoint Baltimore.
