This month we will be partnering with two organizations, FIRST Lego League and Reading Partners. We will be building Lego kits for an upcoming robotics challenge with FIRST. Their mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

With Reading Partners we will be sorting books! Reading Partners help children become lifelong readers by empowering communities to provide individualized instruction with measurable results.

Parking is available on the street and in a small lot next to the school. And of course, there will be an afterparty where we will cheers to our great work!
