August – Baltimore Collaborative Warehouse
In August, 139 VU volunteers helped five different non-profits all under one roof.
They helped inventory and sort equipment for Leveling the Playing Field, load the bookmobile for the Maryland Book Bank, create baby bundles for ShareBaby, assemble bedtime boxes for Bedtime in a box, and help distribute materials for the Teacher Supply Swap.
After working up a gigantic appetite, the group gathered at Blue Pit BBQ to mingle with fellow volunteers about the different non-profits they’d helped that day.
